Rather unusual copyright status: it is public domain in India and many other countries (as a photograph from before 1958 over 50 years old), and since it is on the Indian Navy website any copyright the Indian Navy owns (i.e. copyright in countries like the U.S., which it owns thanks to the URAA) are released under a Creative Commons license.
