बिबरणMap of Angika-speaking region.svg
English: Natural boundaries showing the geographical region of Anga where the Angika language is traditionally spoken:
North: Bounded by the Terai plains of Nepal, reaching up to the eastern Sivalik Hills (the outermost range of the Himalayas) in Morang and Sunsari districts.
West (north of the Ganga): Generally follows the Kosi River until the river turns eastward, after which the boundary runs southwest up to the Ganges, which marks the Anga–Mithila divide near Begusarai.
West (south of the Ganga): Defined by the watershed and uplands east of the Kiul River valley (Magadha), trending into the Kharagpur Hills near Chakai.
South: Cut off by the northern slopes of the Parasnath (Shikharji) range and adjoining uplands across the Santhal Pargana division (Jharkhand), along this frontier lie the headwaters of the Chandan River, the chief river of southern Anga.
East: Bounded by the Rajmahal Hills at its northeastern edge near Sahebganj, together with the adjoining Ganga plain.
